Make law enforcement answerable to the public
First, I'd like to respond to Mr. Bill Webb's comment to me advising me to "keep your opinions and speculations to yourself". Gee, Mr. Webb, that's a pretty bizarre attitude for a former police officer, whose sworn duty was to uphold the law. Constitution, especially the First Amendment. As far as your other comment accusing me of "throwing muck in the direction of people that will protect you even though you show such loathing for Prada Tote Small
them," my letter stated nothing of the kind. How you were able to translate my questions and comments that I posed in my letter as "loathing" for the police is beyond me.
Mr. Gaylord was only 10 feet away, certainly close enough to disarm Mr. Gaylord without using deadly force. It would seem to me a much safer and humane route than firing live rounds into a crowded mobile home park and possibly injuring other people. What is the policy here in Prada Sunglasses Sport

Grand County in the use of Taser guns and other non lethal equipment? Is there anyone in law enforcement here willing to enlighten the citizens about this subject?
The plain fact is, many people in Grand County do not trust the police. This is partly due to the widespread dissatisfaction with the way complaints about police activities are handled. We need our Grand County law enforcement and legal system answerable and accountable to the citizens they have been sworn to protect and serve. This is why we need a Citizen's Police Review Board.
After reading the responses to my letter regarding the police shooting death of Jimmy Gaylord, I feel obliged to comment.
Ms. Bobbitt stated that the deputy "in taking a life certainly suffered a trauma that will be with him forever."
