Q: You've taken the hard road to the NBA, what has it been like Prada Backpack Black to go the D League route?
A: It's cool to me. It's what I've been used to my whole life. I've never been Harry or anything like that. I've never shied away from it. I think having my dad's name shows our Handbags Prada
A: It's been good. It's helped me learn a lot. Coming out of school, I was mainly a defender. I didn't really look to score. Since I've been here, I've been asked to carry a bigger load which I haven't done since high school.
SOUTH PADRE ISLAND Patrick Ewing Jr. has no problem being Patrick Ewing Jr. He's never considered it a burden to be the son of a Hall of Fame basketball player, and he's never felt pressure just because he shares his name.

closeness. He's been a great dad for me my whole life. Both my parents have. To follow in his footsteps and play basketball, he's been very supportive.
Q: Being Patrick Ewing Jr., what's it like to share his name?
Q: Has he let you figure out things on your own?
A: I've known him for many years because our dads played together (with the Knicks). We regained touch in college when he played for St. John's and I played for Georgetown. We'd talk occasionally. I think it's great he's playing in the D League. since high school. My first memory of him was when we were at the NIKE camp and it just happened to be they Prada Backpack Bag
A: I think I have the best dad in the world. I never understood his basketball talents until I Prada Bags Purple
A: He keeps his distance, but at the same time, he's there. He was my coach in summer league so he got to experience my playing first hand and I played pretty well under him. He's always been there for me as a dad first, not as a basketball coach or a player. He was hands off until I got to college. When I got college, he made sure when he saw I could play at the next level, he became more hands on.
got older, but I was at most games and I saw all the battles he had with Michael Jordan, Dikembe Mutombo, Hakeem, but to me he's always been Dad, and I'm very proud to be his son.
were showing (the movie) Michael Jordan To The Max at the IMAX theatres across the country so of course, when you watch that, they have the greatest dunk of all time when Michael Jordan dunks over my dad. came over to me and said, 'Hey don't worry about it. People talk about my dad all the time. It's part of what it is.' And now, it's great to be playing with him, finally.
making a name for himself with Reno
Q: Did you know Anthony Mason Jr. (of Sioux Falls), growing up?
Q: What's that process been like?
Ewing Jr. is definitely taking the harder road to the NBA than his father. He was drafted out of Georgetown in the second round (43 rd overall) by the Sacramento Kings in 2008. He's been traded to the Houston Rockets and New York Knicks. In 2008, he signed with the NBA Development League's Reno Bighorns. He was waived by the Big Horns in 2009 after spraining his MCL. He re signed with the Bighorns after getting cut by the Knicks in August.
Ewing Jr. spoke with The Monitor after Wednesday's game in which he scored 16 points to help Reno to a 111 102 victory over Maine at the NBA Development League Showcase at the South Padre Island Convention Centre.
A: It's been not difficult, but different. It's something that I was not used to doing in many years. I'm fortunate to have some great offensive players around me. They've made my job a lot easier.
